Girls' room!
Dave hams it up in the girls' change room while I do my hair and Dana does Lindsay's makeup. |
Not looking good
Gerry as Donald explains Meg's tubes as the doctors look on. |
In the hospital
Gerry and I as Donald and Lizzie, in Meg's hospital room, examining the Christmas decorations on the bed. |
It's cold out there!
Me as Lizzie, coming into Tim's from the freezing cold outdoors. |
Confessional
Lindsay and Jason as Casey and Father JJ. |
Saying goodbye
Lizzie saying goodbye to Meg, before Meg's life support is turned off. |
Tim's
The stage set in the Tim's set--notice the halo above the set (clever, hey?!), and the circular shapes on the set, which serves as a doughnut, a Tim's visor, and a halo, as well as being the shape of the room itself. |
Wings, baby!
Pam and Brent as Nat and Fanny show off their "Dove" wings. |
Listen!
Pam and Brent as Nat and Fanny (the musical group "Dove") confront Jason as Father JJ. |
Singing
"Swing low, sweet lobster swing..." Yes, that's actually what we were singing there. No, don't ask. We're strange. That's the cast with our director--Pam (female swing), Brent (male swing), Gerry (Donald), Lindsay (Casey), Dave (Jansen), Jason (Father JJ), Wanda, and me (Lizzie). |
The crew
The people who make us look good: Juliana (stage manager), Dana (makeup artist), Carlon (Dana's son), Rick (props assistant), Linnea (wardrobe assistant), Colin (sound and music designer), Andy (musician), John (assistant director), Bev (head of props), Gerry (set designer), Doreen (prop and costume assistant), Deb (costume designer), Wanda (director), and Meg (the dummy in the bed). |
It's Meg!
Juliana, our stage manager, adjusts Meg in the bed. Meg was our dummy, but actually seemed real--we got used to acting with her, and she got a lot less scary once she actually had a face, not just a featureless styrofoam hairdresser's head. |
Conference
Gerry and I run lines and discuss a scene in the hallway before a run during rehearsal. |
Long day?
A cup of coffee in one hand, a glass of wine in the other. What does that say about this day's rehearsal? |
The green room
Alida, Colin, Jason, and Adam (lighting designer) hanging out in the green room before a rehearsal. |
Busking
Colin and Andy busk in the lobby to raise money for a women's shelter. |
Warming up
Lindsay and Pam warm up backstage before going on. |
*hugs*
