The big tree
The big tree in the middle of the main foyer at church--our decorators did a fantastic job. |
 |
The house set
The stage-right set--the house scene of the Christmas show. There was another set in the middle, between the house and the office, but it wasn't really anything spectacular to look at when I was taking the pictures between shows. |
 |
The office set
The stage-left, office set. The bookshelves are filled with my scripts and textbooks, mostly. Despite the fact that it's supposed to be an executive's office. And this is what happens when you can't see the titles on the spines from the audience! |

My tree
My beautifully full IKEA tree, all in silver and red. Of course, my naughty cat broke half the red ornaments a few years ago, and this year, I just bought more silver, no red or white, so the tree is very predominantly silver this year. |
 |
The ceiling of my living room. Hmmm... wonder where I got this idea from! Look at the church pictures looking down the hallway. It looks much better when the clusters of ornaments are hanging from light fixtures and there are about 12 clusters of at least 100 ornaments each. But my little attempt is still fun. |
 |
The quilt
My mom gave me this wall quilt last year--each square has a different fabric that represents some part of my year in New York, and the outside has shopping bags and store signs on it. |
 |
New living room
The living room with the tree and decorations, and with the rearranged furniture. |

Heather and Alida
This is Heather, the director of our Christmas show, and me. We're both trained in theatre, so it's our greatest challenge and goal to bring a sense of professionalism and excellence to the drama program at the church. She and her husband Scott are both great people, and I love working with her--we work together so well, and I'll keep working with her for as long as I can. |

Looking down the foyer
Looking past the main tree down the east wing of the foyer. There's a life-sized gingerbread house on the far left side of the picture, and you can see at least one of the light fixtures with the ornament clusters hanging from it. |
 |
Decorations
Trees and the life-sized gingerbread house, with the hanging ornaments. That's a better picture of both the ornaments and the house. |
Yes, I have no original ideas.
